Rock the Ralph

Rock the Ralph Pitch
As part of ND Tourism's PR strategy, we send national pitches for selected events each year. When the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks hosted the World Curling Championship in 2008, we developed a PR pitch to send to national late show media with the theme "Rock the Ralph."

The pitch was designed around the curling rocks that are used in the sport. To promote the event with late-night talk shows, we created packages that incorporated a curling rock hat, along with a t-shirt, can cozy, brochure and letter inviting them to do a segment on the event. Everything was packed in a round faux-leather hat box, which was delivered to segment producers at The Tonight Show and The Late Show.
